Meaning & Purpose : In this section, I will show the importance of the renaming the folder and others settings of premiere pro which can affect the outcome of the quality.
The screenshots below shows the original folder form camera, every photos / videos I took were all saved inside. The name of each content is just number and the file format. It will be very messy for me when I get to the editing stage as I have to open the content every time to check what is it. Therefore renaming is a very important stages before editing begin. Although it takes sometime to rename every videos / photo, it will definitely save lots of time afterwards.
I had created a folder called "Short List". Inside this folder, there are the footages what I think is be well taken. They are the pre edit material, all of it has clear graphic, well focus and well sound recording as well.
Once I had dragged all the video from the original folder to "Short List". I had then spend some time to rename all the video. The name of the video will according to what the actor is doing, where I took the video and different camera angle. Now all the video had been renamed, they are all neat and tidy. It will be easier for me to find the footages in the future, as this "Short List" folder will be import into premiere pro. Placing all the pre-edit material in the same folder not only helps to identify which footages are been well taken, it also saves lots of time not importing each individual video.
Once I opened Premiere Pro CS5. There were few setting which had to be confirmed before any editing. The Capture Format has to be in HDV which is the file formate of the videos. The Location has to be change into the folder where I save all the footages. The name has to be change to the project title which helps to identify. Once everything is changed, then press OK.

The screenshot below shows the how important is it to rename the video. As there were nearly 50 clips that I will be using in the advertisement. Renaming the video can helps to decide the arrangement of the video. Woking on montage section is much easier was large amount of video are trim into a small length of time.
The aspect ration will be set into 16:9, it is a standard international board cast ratio on HDTV. The advertisement will be board cast on the television of other media. It is important the aspect ratio is widely acceptable and meet the board cast requirement.
To gives out the best quality of the film, the video will be film through camera in 1080p and exported the final product in 1080p as well. The 1080p is the standard quality of modern high definition television. The pixel ratio in the film must be 1920 x 1080 to meet the 1080p quality.
